Your postal area.
Your starting point.

These are recognised Toronto mailing, institutional or commercial assignments. They are kept separate because a mailing destination does not establish a residential furnace location. For a furnace question, identify the physical property and its equipment.

How the Toronto boundary is used

The City of Toronto is the geographic limit. The directory does not extend to Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill or Pickering. M7R is specifically excluded because Canada Post assigns it to Mississauga. Other unfamiliar M prefixes are not automatically accepted.

The map uses the 2021 Statistics Canada census postal-area layer. Census areas approximate postal geography and are not a current delivery-address database. The six district labels make browsing easier; they do not assert that every part of an FSA lies inside one historic municipality. See the postal methodology for dates and source limitations.

A complete postal code has six characters. Its first three identify a forward sortation area, or FSA. Matching those three characters here says which area guide to read. It does not prove that the final three characters exist, that an address is deliverable, or that a contractor is available. A furnace enquiry must still concern a physical property inside Toronto.

Once your area is identified, use equipment details to answer furnace questions. Start with the filter-size guide for a replacement cartridge, the no-heat guide for an operating problem, or the replacement guide when comparing long-term options.
